Children must be identified
and evaluated in accordance with PL. 94-142 to be considered educationally
disabled. The SSD serves county students with the disabilities classified
as: learning disabled, mental retardation, behavior disordered/ emotionally
disturbed, speech disordered (voice, fluency or articulation), language
disordered, visually impaired, hearing impaired, physically/ other
health impaired, multi handicapped, deaf/blind, autism, early childhood
special education, and traumatic brain injury.
