McGrath has been a proud part of Brentwood for more than 40 years. The students, their involved parents, and the excellent staff work well together to insure a quality education for each child. Academics are stressed and students excel in all areas; however, physical education and the arts are also alive and well at McGrath. And now technology is quickly becoming an integral part of the learning and teaching tools.
McGrath has a healthy mixture of students from varied countries and cultures who learn to appreciate their own heritage and that of their classmates. The staff and PTO plan and carry out special events and learning activities all year to enliven the environment. For a small school, we have an amazing number of exciting activities.
The school motto, "A Place to Learn, A Place to Grow," sums up the McGrath atmosphere. Happy, productive, well-behaved students are the heart of McGrath School. Learning IS fun. Our teachers and students demonstrate that truth every day.
Brentwood Schools have been called a "well kept secret." We're willing to let the secret out--McGrath School is a little gem of a school. Our arms and doors are open wide to anyone wanting to know more about McGrath. Community members and prospective parents are always welcome to visit this warm learning environment.
